"A day you will never forget"
A couple of days ago apple had on it's website "Tomorrow is just another day... That you will never forget..." and had clocks that showed the time the announcement would be made. My roommates and I spent hours brainstorming what this great announcement could be, like maybe apps for your computer. Then it came out that they were adding The Beatles to iTunes.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? THAT'S YOUR BIG ANNOUNCEMENT???? This was such a pathetic announcement to be hyped up. Either people are Beatles fans and already have the music, or they aren't Beatles fans and could care less about it. The fact that iTunes now carries it changes almost nothing. Wow apple, good work.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. It was pretty lame for Apple to make such a big deal out of this announcement. I already have all of the Beatles music I want and I assume everyone else does already. I doubt it will change anyone's life in any way.
ReplyDeleteMax I totally agree! You should check out my blog it is very similar...Apple cannot just tease us like that and not deliver. I am very upset with Apple right now, so they better announce the iPhone 5 or something cool very soon!
ReplyDeleteWhile I do recognise that the Beatles are were big in their day and for many years after, I don't count myself as an ardent fan. Apple needs to realize that their market may not care about this "day you'll never forget" quite as much as they think. I attribute this to Steve Job's arrogance. The majority of apple users are young tech savvy and I stand by my prediction that less than half of Apple consumers care whether the beatles are on Itunes or not.
